Default Date Format

Configuring your web app's default data format streamlines information management, fostering consistency and efficiency. A standardized format promotes clarity, reduces errors, and ensures a cohesive approach to data handling across the project. This enhances overall organization and user-friendliness.

In this video tutorial you will understand how to set your project's default data format.

1. Drop a Collection Form

Go to Components and drop a Collection Form. Open its Settings and choose the Collection to derive data from and Save. By default the date format is yy/mm/dd in this form.

2. Change the Default Date Format

To do this go to App Settings and in Advanced you will find Date Format. Form the dropddown choose the date settings you wish to set for your project and click Update.

3. Preview the Changes

Go back to the Preview page and reload it. The chosen date format would appear here.
