Implementing SEO Friendly Dynamic URLs

In this video you will learn how to build SEO friendly, readable URLs for any details page dynamically in DrapCode. This can be useful when you want to include some text in the URL instead of just the ID.

1. Add a SEO Field​

To begin create the article or a blog and add comments to it. The basic configuation of the URL of the page will take you to the blog details page with the ID of the parent blog. To make the URL SEO-friendly you can add text or description to it.

For this click the Settings icon of the button and in the form that appears choose the text field in the SEO Field option. Then you can close the box and Save it.

2. View the SEO-Friendly URL​

Go to Preview and click the button. It will display the page with the URL that contains the text that is SEO-friendly along with the ID. The text in the URL tells the reader what the article or the blog is about.
