Auto Search
In this video you will understand how to implement the Auto Search functionality in Data Search Form for Data Group and Data Table. With this you won't have to type the search button explicitly for the data table or data groups to filter the results. It will search and filter the results as soon you enter something or choose any value from.
1. Add a Data Table
To begin you would have to create a Data Table to your project. To do this you can use the Components section with the Data Table option. In the form that appears choose the Settings icon and mention the collection name, collection field and collection filter from the dropdown to get details for the Data Table. Then use the Save icon to finish building your data table.
2. Manual Search for Data Group and Data Table
When you click Preview you can now view your Data Table with records. reload this page to get the updated records. Now click the Search button to look for records you need. This is a manual search that you conducted.
3. Auto Search for Data Group and Data Table
You can Enable Auto Search from the Settings icon. In the data Table, as the box appears simply tick the option to activate it and then save the settings. Once you Reload your page you can use this feature.
4. Search by Date
To search by data in the Custom Date field mention the dates from where to begin the search from and on which date to end. The Data Table will display results accordingly.
