External Parameters in Collection Filters

In this video you will know how to use external parameters in collection filters so that they can fetch data on the basis of dynamic values.

1. Create a Filter

To begin create a Filter for your collection. Add the fields you want to apply the count to. Then add Condition for the selection. After this, choose the Save and Create Filter option for your settings. With this setting you can collect all data that has a particular ID.

2. Bind the Filter

Go to the collection form and bind the filter to the form field. To do this go to the Settings icon of the field. In the form that appears choose the Collection, Get Value from Collection Filters and the Filter you created. When you choose the filter it will ask for the Parameter. Select the parameter and save your settings.

3. Preview or Publish

You can preview the filtered data as per the parameter mentioned by clicking the Preview option. When you add new data to your list it will showcase it too.
